Peperomia ‘Hope’

Description:
Peperomia 'Hope' is a compact, trailing variety of Peperomia, known for its thick, succulent-like, heart-shaped leaves that are glossy and dark green with a slight silvery sheen. It forms a dense, bushy plant and is a great choice for hanging baskets or as a tabletop decoration. This low-maintenance plant is perfect for beginners, offering ease of care while adding a vibrant, lush aesthetic to your space. Watering:
Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry to the touch. As a semi-succulent, Peperomia 'Hope' does not require frequent watering and prefers to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the pot has good drainage. During Winter, reduce watering, as the plant’s growth slows down.

Fertilizer:
Feed with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (Spring and Summer). Reduce feeding during the Fall and Winter when the plant is not actively growing. Over-fertilizing can cause the plant to become leggy, so it’s best to use fertilizer sparingly.

Lighting:

Temperature:
Thrives in temperatures between 60-80°F (15-27°C). Peperomia 'Hope' is sensitive to cold and should be kept away from drafts, air conditioning vents, or cold windows, as temperatures below 50°F (10°C) can cause damage. Stable indoor temperatures are ideal for this plant.

Humidity:
Prefers moderate to high humidity but can tolerate average indoor humidity levels. If the air is too dry, the plant’s growth may slow down, and the leaf edges may brown. Mist the plant occasionally or use a humidity tray or humidifier if you live in a dry climate.
