Description:
Peperomia obtusifolia, commonly known as the "Baby Rubber Plant," is a popular houseplant admired for its thick, glossy, and rounded leaves that are deep green, often with a hint of yellow or cream on the edges. This low-maintenance plant has a compact, bushy growth habit and is ideal for beginner plant owners. It is perfect for adding a pop of green to desks, tabletops, or shelves. As a succulent-like plant, it’s very tolerant of dry conditions, making it an easy-care option for your indoor garden.

Watering:
Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch. Peperomia obtusifolia is relatively drought-tolerant, and overwatering can cause root rot. Ensure the pot has good drainage to allow excess water to escape. During the Winter months, reduce watering as the plant's growth slows down.

Fertilizer:
Feed with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (Spring and Summer). In Fall and Winter, reduce feeding as the plant's growth naturally slows. Too much fertilizer can lead to leggy growth or leaf damage, so use sparingly.

Lighting:

Humidity:
Prefers moderate humidity but can adapt to average indoor humidity levels. It’s more tolerant of dry air compared to other houseplants, making it suitable for typical indoor conditions. If the air is too dry, you may notice the leaf edges starting to brown. Misting the leaves occasionally or using a humidity tray can help if needed.
