Pothos ‘Global Green’

Description:
Pothos 'Global Green' is a stunning and easy-to-care-for trailing plant known for its lush, heart-shaped leaves with striking green colouration. Unlike traditional Pothos varieties, 'Global Green' features solid green leaves with a slight golden sheen, giving it a more uniform yet vibrant appearance. This low-maintenance plant is perfect for adding a tropical touch to any indoor space, whether it's hanging in a basket, trailing along a shelf, or climbing a support. Pothos 'Global Green' is an excellent choice for beginners, as it is forgiving and adaptable to a variety of conditions.

Watering:
Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry to the touch. Pothos 'Global Green' prefers to dry out a little between waterings, but it should not be left completely dry for too long. Make sure the pot has good drainage to prevent water from sitting at the bottom, which could lead to root rot. In the cooler months, reduce watering, as the plant’s growth slows down. It’s best to err on the side of underwatering rather than overwatering.

Fertilizer:
Feed with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (Spring and Summer). In the Fall and Winter, reduce fertilizing as the plant's growth slows down. Over-fertilizing can cause the plant to become leggy or promote excessive growth at the expense of the leaves' appearance.

Lighting:
Pothos 'Global Green' prefers bright, indirect light but can also adapt to lower light conditions. While it will grow in lower light, its growth may slow, and the colour of the leaves may become less vibrant. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves. An East- or North-facing window is ideal for this plant.

Temperature:
Thrives in temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). It’s sensitive to cold, so avoid placing it in areas with temperatures below 50°F (10°C), as this can cause damage to the plant. Keep it in a warm and stable environment for optimal growth.

Humidity:
Prefers moderate to high humidity. While it can tolerate average household humidity, it will thrive with higher humidity. Dry air can cause the leaves to become crispy at the edges. To maintain optimal humidity, consider misting the leaves occasionally, using a humidity tray, or placing the plant near a humidifier.
